Support Preschool for All Massachusetts Children

Many of the criticisms we receive are that high quality preschool in Massachusetts is simply too expensive. We all agree. The public school system is grossly underfunded, No Child Left Behind has actually eroded quality public preschool programs and the economics of running a private preschool are so poor that most private schools rely on donations to make ends meet. What is the solution? Universal preschool for all Massachusetts children - regardless of income. The benefits of preschool are enormous and proven. Massachusetts only stands to gain from universal preschool.
You can help if you act now. Massachusetts legislators are currently putting together their recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2009 budget. E-mail your legislator and insist the he or she include in their recommendations an investment in Preschool for all Massachusetts children. Okay - how do you actually do this? Its easy! The Early Education for All Campaign has set up a web site that allows you to e-mail your legislators with a single click. Suggested language is even included - but we recommend you let them know how important this issue is to you and your children. You don’t need to know their e-mail addresses - you don’t even need to know who your representative are - the system knows and will sent the e-mail directly to their office. The representative will even reply directly to you. Just click on the link below to make your voice heard!
